The fact it required as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase exceeding 300, taking back their record for the largest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the pitchers that have sported the yellow jersey over the past 50 years.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the belief to achieve that now," continued Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, should it happen, we know we can do it."

Those words will be the ultimate thing rival teams at this World Cup should hear.

During the last week a feeling they will succeed regardless of circumstances has become more firm - this triumph coming after success over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.
