I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.
Former two-time world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
